Do airports provide the clear 20x20 plastic bags for carrying liquids in hand baggage?

In particular, Birmingham International Airport...do they provide the little bag, or do we need to buy them ourselves?Do airports provide the clear 20x20 plastic bags for carrying liquids in hand baggage?
The airports sell them now, they do not hand them out for free anymore.

Better bring your own.

Just buy a pack, every supermarket in England stocks them, that way you are sure that you have one when you need it.Do airports provide the clear 20x20 plastic bags for carrying liquids in hand baggage?
I was on a British airport since I answered this question and found that they still gave the plastic bags out there, but I would not trust on that staying the case.

Generally they are available, but if you are in a hurry or they have temporarily run-out, then that puts you in the awkward position of having nothing to put your liquids in! If you have a bag, and it is no larger than 20cm x 20cm, I'd just take it with you.
I've never been to Birmingham International Airport, but many major airports will have a table right before you go through security with a bunch of the plastic bags. If they don't have them out, I'm sure you could ask someone who works there for one.
You should get your own, it will save time. Many airports no longer distribute bags as, after all this time, people should be able to sort it out for themselves.
They Sure Do Just Before You go Through Security In Edinburgh Airport There On the Right hand Side of The Trays You would Put you Belt watch in Ect Hope this helps :-)
I have only seen them for sale in airports - something like 拢1 per bag. Take your own.
