How to make plastic clear again?

how can i make plastic clearHow to make plastic clear again?
What type of plastic are you asking about?

If it is thick plastic (like convertible or boat windows) try this: Why is the plastic not clear? If it is aged there isn't a whole lot you can do. If there are scratches you can buff it out. Several companies offer this service if you aren't able to do it.

If it is thin plastic (like plastic sheets to help winterize your windows) just throw it away and replace it. Sorry but there's nothing you can do.

Please give me a little more info and I'll try to give you a little better advice.

ADDITION: Try a small amount of automotive buffing compound to remove the oxidation. The buffing could also remove the scratches. If that doesn't pull the scraches out, go to an automotive supply store and check out the products that they carry to restore convertible windows. I run a boat detailing company and we restore plastic windows all the time - we use a product called ';Novus 2';. Good luck %26amp; let me know how that works for you!How to make plastic clear again?
