will clear nail polish work? I dont want it to be noticeable How can i seamlessly repair minor scratches on clear plastic?
Rub the scratches hard with tooth paste. Tooth paste has a very fine abrasive in it This may take a while but it works. Nail polish will probably attack the plastic.How can i seamlessly repair minor scratches on clear plastic?
If it is plastic you can polish it out using a buffing wheel on a small grinder or a polishing wheel on a buffing machine. DO NOT use clear nail polish as this may destroy the underlaying plastics.
if it's a gloss finish plastic auto wax can work fairly well to cover scratches up.
