You have to be careful using goof off or goo gone on plastic. It dissolves some types of plastic. How do you remove WD40 from clear plastic or glass?
First wipe with a dry paper towel, then wash with warm detergent solution. How do you remove WD40 from clear plastic or glass?
With a napkin or towel.
wash it with a degreaser the rinse then use windex
This will sound crazy but I found black coffee on a soft cloth works great. I found this out by accident when the only liquid I had was my coffee to clean off machine oil, from a large magnifying lens. No streaks either.
goo gone.... or goof off
Glass cleaner should get it from glass, but if it doesn't, mix a little Dawn dish soap in water %26amp; wash with that. Just make sure you aren't in direct sunlight, or it will streak like crazy. If it's plastic, it may be permanently damaged by the wd-40.
Absorb the excess wd40 with a paper towel. Then the film on the glass will need to be wiped off with hot water and liquid degreaser. Simple solution, Good Luck.
Wash the item with dawn for dishes, and get the oil off, and rinse with cool water. Now take white vinegar 1cup and 1/2 cup of water and soak paper towel or a cloth and clean the plastic or glass again, Dry with paper towel.
