How to remove glue off clear plastic, for candy vending machine...?

Got a hold of a vending machine, clear canisters had stickers on them, pulled off the sticker, left glue behind... tried oils, goo gone, rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover, still is there goo gone made a mess it lifted some of it but then when I went to pull the glue off it spread making a film! Thinking of boiling the parts.... or sanding it down any hints for this remember its clear?How to remove glue off clear plastic, for candy vending machine...?
I think that what i would do is...... get some soapy water and put it on the spot and keep it there, after 15 minutes it peals off easy! this means that you dont have to get other chemicals and you willl make it alot easier!How to remove glue off clear plastic, for candy vending machine...?
The people who gave us Stain Devils make a bottle called Sticky Stuff Remover. I use it at work daily and its really good but stinks!
after washing all the dirt and grease off it with detergent, use methylated spirits to remove the stickers
