Can you get clear plastic like in heroclix?

If you played the game Heroclix, some of the scultpures where made of a clear plastic. Does anyone know what this plastic is and if it can be purchased?Can you get clear plastic like in heroclix?
I have no idea what ';Heroclix'; is, but you may be seeing sculptures which were ';cast'; with clear polyester resin.


(If the sculpts were thinner than about 1/2';, then a clear epoxy resin could have been used too. Other types of clear resin aren't used that much outside factories.)

Also check out casting polyester resins in molds at YouTube, etc. (but be aware that polyester resins are also used between sheets of fiberglass, and that's not the technique you want).
