Epoxy plastic repair, I bought it to repair some plastic toys and it works great. It cost about $4.00 at Ace hardware store. I hope that helps, Good Luck! What is the best material and glue to repair a rip in a clear plastic rain coat?
Try crazy glue or use a hot glue gun.
clear vinyl pool repair patch
the besst materiel is pins and fabric
rubber cement
first i recommend tring to sew it.... althouh im not exactly sure so im not garunteing anything i think you should try to sew then duct tape......
Invisible waterproof tape.
a new rain coat or

krazy glue
Duct Tape all the way baby! That is if you don't mind looking like a hobo. Personally I don't mind. But if you prefer more of a better look, try that tent repair kit stuff. It usually comes with a tent you buy.
go to a pool dealer .yes a swimming pool dealer. get a clear pool liner repair kit and put a patch on the outside and inside .make it bigger than the tear
a new rain coat
If you can find some clear Tool Dip (look at your local hardware store; it's a rubbery material used to coat tools. at my local store, it's with the paint),that and a small brush seems idea. Clean the area thoroughly with alcohol first.
The quick and easy fix is clear duct tape. Any patch/glue you use will cloud and not look much better than the duct tape.
Clear pvc cement...this glue will actually fuse plastic together w/ other plastics...it's like a welding of the material...it basically liquifies the plastic and fuses it w/ another piece of plastic...clear celophane tape seems to work well on plastic as well...used in conjunction w/ the pvc, you should have a good seam..
