Why does my pet ferret have a fascination with clear plastic packaging?

He especially goes crazy for plastic water bottles...





he will not play with any of the damn toys I buy him but he will chew the crap out of an empty battery packaging.Why does my pet ferret have a fascination with clear plastic packaging?
ferrets are ballistic!! i did ferret rescue for about 3 years, i had up to 9 at one time. they all have different personalities,they can just be so totally different.the plastic packaging is just your ferrets thing.there`s not much you can do about changing that. i would not buy anymore toys for it i would just let him have his plastic things,just be sure it has no sharp edges or nothing that can come off that he can swallow.keep checking to make sure it`s in ok condition for it to continue to play with.good luck!!Why does my pet ferret have a fascination with clear plastic packaging?
Isn't that always the way with pets and kids? I find the toys my 2 ferrets like best are the home made ones. Like the rice box I put together for them a few years ago, fill a nice big box about halfway with 40 pounds of rice and they'll have hours of fun digging and pouncing on each other in it!





The only store toys they seem to like are the fun-nels. But I wouldn't spend more money on toys if he doesn't use them.
