My clear plastic retainer has white spots on it?

I have had it for a couple of days.

Brushing it doesn't seem to work.My clear plastic retainer has white spots on it?
What appear to be white spots are actually pressure marks or scratches on the surface of the plastic. Because they break up the smooth, glossy surface of the retainer, they have a white appearance. They appear inevitably due to biting down on your retainer, and I don't know of any way to get rid of them. However, they shouldn't cause any problems, or be visible when your actually wearing it.My clear plastic retainer has white spots on it?
I had my retainer for a couple days when that happened to me too. They are just pressure marks from clenching your teeth, biting while wearing them....

I really hated my retainers, so I stopped wearing them after two weeks. They used to make me gag, it was so bad. Good luck with yours though. (My brother wore his for how long he had to, and he now has a beautiful smile. Mine is too...so did the retainers actually help?)
